Lincolnville GO Station construction begins
The work is the latest phase of a project to separate a layover facility and the station itself. It also calls for the addition of new tracks at the station to allow for greater frequency of service along the Stouffville line.
St. Lawrence College receives $2.9M in capital funding
The money will go toward the maintenance, repair, renovation and modernization of existing facilities. It represents an increase of more than $1,696,000 over last year.
Broccolini finishes construction on Amazon Toronto fulfillment centre
Work on the project began in August 2019. The building is Amazon's ninth fulfillment center in Ontario, alongside its two Toronto tech hub locations, and the second completed by Broccolini.
$32M invested in Ottawa affordable housing
The money is being provided through Canada Mortgage and Housing Corporation’s Rapid Housing Initiative, and will be used to build more than 100 supportive housing units.
CMH construction work to restart in February
Cambridge Memorial Hospital announced on December 7 that it has entered into a settlement agreement with former builders Bondfield, project lenders Bank of Montreal, Zurich Insurance and Infrastructure Ontario to restart work on the Wing B project using EllisDon as its contractor.
