CIMA+ acquires Thunder Bay’s Kozar Engineering
CIMA+ has announced the acquisition of Thunder Bay’s Kozar Engineering Inc.
The company says the acquisition represents a significant step in its growth strategy, enhancing its geographic reach into Northwestern Ontario.

By expanding into Northwestern Ontario, CIMA+ intends to deliver more services to support activities in critical sectors like mining, industries, energy, and infrastructure.
CIMA+ provides a variety of consulting engineering services, namely in the areas of buildings, infrastructure, transportation, energy and resources, project management, communication systems, and the environment.
The company employs more than 3,000 people across its 30-plus Canadian offices.
Kozar Engineering, meanwhile, was established in 2012 by Kevin Kozar as a local mechanical engineering firm. It has since grown to employ more than 20 design professionals who deliver projects across North America.
