Housing Minister Sean Fraser says Canadians can expect to see a full plan from the federal government in 2024 that lays out how it will tackle the housing crisis.

A Markham-based developer has been ordered to pay almost $185,000 in fines and restitution after pleading guilty in an Ontario court to illegally selling new homes.

Approximately 75% of those registered with SOY have been in construction trades.

Once in place, the new system will digitize environmental property records so that developers can proceed with real-estate transactions and development plans faster.

The city invested approximately $50 million in 2023 across 16 construction projects to repair, maintain and expand its transportation infrastructure.
