The construction and operation of four small modular reactors at the Darlington Nuclear site could boost Canada’s GDP by more than $15 billion over the next 65 years, a new report from the Conference Board of Canada suggests.

Two Ontario municipalities are asking the provincial government to reimburse them for more than $400,000 in costs they incurred while working on the now-reversed Greenbelt land removals in their communities.

More than 200 companies participate in the PAR certification program. Aecon is one of four that has been recognized at the silver level this year.

The latest report from RLB finds there are more tower cranes in use across Toronto than there are across all 13 other key North American cities combined.

The communities would be located along the Ontario Line subway and Scarborough Subway Extension, and could include as many as 5,900 residential units.
