Construction is officially underway on Canada’s first grid-scale small modular reactor at Ontario Power Generation’s Darlington nuclear site.

The acquisition gives the firm an expanded market presence in the mechanical and electrical engineering sector throughout Southern Ontario.

Infrastructure Ontario and The Ottawa Hospital have issued a request for proposals for teams to design and develop the multi-billion-dollar Civic Campus Redevelopment Project.

The government has not yet identified which municipalities would be subject to the audits but is pledging to work with the association and the Ontario Big City Mayors to come up with a list.

The Scarborough Transit Connect team will now work with Metrolinx and Infrastructure Ontario on the project’s development phase.
