Pickering Nuclear Generating Station had been set to shut down in 2025, but the province is now seeking approval from the Canadian Nuclear Safety Commission to extend that to September 2026. 

On Wednesday, the bank launched its $500-million initiative to boost zero-emission vehicle charging and refuelling infrastructure.
