Ontario elementary students will be taught more hands-on science, technology and engineering skills starting in September as part of a new curriculum unveiled Tuesday.

The Ontario Construction Secretariat’s annual contractor survey finds that 82 percent of those contractors surveyed have a positive outlook on the province’s construction industry for 2022.

Permit values dropped 8.8% for the month, but remain above the $10-billion mark. The residential and non-residential sectors both contracted.

The money will enable Monarch Recovery Services to build a larger location at the old St. David's school in Sudbury's Donovan neighbourhood.
