Six PBCTCO projects receive $4 million in funding
Six projects created in part by the Provincial Building and Construction Trades Council of Ontario will share in $4 million in funding from the province’s Skills Development Fund.
Province invests $3.6M in trades training for Indigenous people at Greenstone Mine
The funding will be used to train as many as 150 people in trades such as construction craft workers, heavy equipment operators, truck drivers, crane operators, welders and millwrights. The workers will be given opportunities to help build and run the Greenstone Gold Mine.

New boot camps aim to bring more people into skilled trades
The province has provided $4 million in funding for a series of 70 boot camps designed to help more than 2,000 people access training and networking opportunities in a variety of skilled trades.
Muskoka Cabinet Company receives $625K manufacturing boost
The money will allow the company to adopt a new panel finishing line that will increase productivity by 50 percent. The company will also use the funding to create seven new full-time jobs.
