CIMA+ acquires EDIOM
CIMA+ has acquired Mississauga-based electrical engineering company EDIOM.
The consulting engineering firm made the announcement on May 19.
EDIOM is a multi-disciplinary provider of advisory, engineering, project and construction management, and testing services focused on the renewable energy, utilities and ICI markets.
Company principal Shahid Pasha will join CIMA+ as vice president, Ontario Energy Sector.
Over the past two decades, Pasha has been an integral part of many critical infrastructure projects for some of the largest utilities and renewable energy developers in North America. He has led project teams that have delivered major projects with a cumulative portfolio value of over US$2 billion.

Based in Mississauga, he will be leading our Ontario Energy teams and ensuring our organization's continued successful development," said Steeve L'Heureux, executive vice-president of energy and resources at CIMA+. CIMA+ provides a variety of engineering consulting services, namely in the areas of buildings, infrastructure, transportation, energy & resources, project management, environment and communication systems.
The company is among the largest consulting engineering firms in Canada, with more than 30 offices and more than 2,600 employees.
