1Door4Care RFP closes
Infrastructure Ontario announced on May 30 that it has closed the request for proposals stage for teams to submit their bids to design, build and finance the 1Door4Care: CHEO Integrated Treatment Centre in Ottawa.
Three teams submitted project proposals by the May 30 deadline: EllisDon Infrastructure Health, Pomerleau Healthcare Partners and PCL Partnerships.
Infrastructure Ontario and CHEO will evaluate the proposals over the next few months, and plan to announce a successful proponent in the fall.
The 1Door4Care: CHEO Integrated Treatment Centre project will merge seven care locations across Ottawa into a single, state-of-the-art, purpose-built site on CHEO’s main Smyth Road campus.
The new site will include multi-use clinic space, a physiotherapy rehab gym, expanded mental health clinics, indoor and outdoor spaces for teachers and therapists, secure space for children who have been abused, modern treatment rooms for kids with behavioural needs, advanced technology to enable virtual care, a physical link to the main building on campus, family support spaces, a new parking structure, and more.
Infrastructure Ontario’s March P3 Market Update document values the project at between $200 million and $499 million.
