CMB plans to build manufacturing facility in Welland
Canadian Metal Buildings has announced plans to build the country’s most advanced pre-engineered metal building manufacturing facility.
Set on a 12-acre site in Welland, the planned 100,000-square-foot facility is being designed to support greater speed, precision, reliability and long-term production capacity as demand continues to grow across the market.
With a strong focus on workflow, automation, efficiency, and scalability, the expansion is expected to create a more seamless experience for CMB’s builders, customers and staff.
“As demand continues to rise across the Canadian steel building market, this project reflects our commitment to building the kind of operation our builders can count on,” said CMB COO Lucas Bruzzese. “Our expansion into Welland is not just about increasing capacity; it is about investing in our people and creating an environment where they can thrive. As we scale Canadian Metal Buildings, our focus remains on building a strong team, developing our leaders, and delivering a culture that drives performance, while ensuring our builders have a reliable, scalable partner to grow with.”
The building is expected to be fully operational by February 2028.
