IO makes two executive appointments
Infrastructure Ontario (IO) has announced two appointments to its executive team.
Jody Becker joined the organization as chief capital officer earlier this year, while Angela Tancock joined as chief administrative officer on January 19.
Becker will oversee IO’s project delivery and commercial advisory business lines. She brings more than 25 years’ leadership experience in infrastructure operations, strategy, governance and project delivery. Most recently, she served as chief strategy officer at the Greater Toronto Airports Authority, where she helped shape a 10-year modernization plan for Canada’s busiest airport.
Becker previous served as chief operating officer with EllisDon where she directed growth, digital transformation and sustainability initiatives across healthcare, transit and energy sectors, both nationally and internationally.
Meanwhile, Tancock has more than 20 years’ experience leading large-scale organizational transformation and joins IO from Norton Rose Fulbright.
At the firm, she served as chief operating officer overseeing operations, finance, human resources, facilities, procurement, technology and other services. During her tenure, she built a transformation and project management framework tying initiatives directly to strategy, as well as a roadmap aligning skills, technology and capital investments with firm strategy.
At IO, Tancock will oversee the consolidation of the organization’s enabling functions, including human resources, information technology, finance, lending, enterprise risk, internal audit and business services.
“We look forward to the expertise and leadership both Jody and Angela will bring to our organization,” said IO President and CEO Angela Clayton.
