Infrastructure Ontario (IO) and Oak Valley Health have prequalified five companies to deliver the Oak Valley Health – Uxbridge redevelopment project.

Companies were prequalified based on criteria identified in a request for qualifications process that began in December 2025. Selection criteria included the required construction experience applicable to this project, as well as the financial capacity to deliver a project of this size and complexity.

The prequalified companies are EBC Inc., EllisDon Corporation, Maystar General Contractors Inc., Multiplex Construction Canada Limited and Pomerleau Inc.

IO expects to issue an RFP to the companies later this summer, and IO and Oak Valley Health expect to announce a successful proponent next spring.

The project scope of work calls for the modernization and expansion of Oak Valley Health in Uxbridge. At approximately 140,000 square-feet, the new hospital site will add more patient beds and expand key services such as ambulatory care and diagnostic imaging. 

The project is being delivered using a design-bid-build model.
