Province announces $20-million apprenticeship grant program
The new Group Sponsorship Grant program aims to take some of burden of bringing an apprentice through completion of their training by allowing more than one company to sponsor an apprentice.

Pace of job gains slows to 62,000 in November, Statistics Canada says
The gains were mostly focused in full−time work with a gain of 99,000 jobs, offset somewhat by a decline in part−time work of 37,000 positions, Statistics Canada reported Friday.
Windsor permit values retreat in November
Construction permit values dropped in Windsor in November, in part due to a much-reduced performance in the city’s government and institutional sector. Total permit values last month were about one-third of those issued in November 2019.
