One of the key findings of new data compiled by Statistics Canada is that those journeypersons certified in construction trades reported the highest median increases in overall earning in 2019. Out-of-province mobility, meanwhile, reached historically low rates.

Statistics Canada’s latest report on the metric finds total investment ending the month at $19.1 billion, with gains in all components.

Already under construction, the $100-million facility will feature state-of-the-art labs, manufacturing, R&D, and assembly, integration and test facilities, and be home to Canadarm3.

The projects are part of the province’s goal to create more than 30,000 new long-term care spaces by 2028 and upgrade 28,000 more.
