The latest economic analysis from financial services provider Central 1 suggests that Ontario’s economy won’t return to pre-pandemic levels before the middle of 2022, as the initial surge in summer restart activity stalls through the end of 2020.

The nearly $26 million worth of permits issued by the City of Windsor in October were down from the sky-high total issued a month pervious, and put construction activity for the year to date back ahead of the pace set last year.

The investment includes $36 million to build a replacement facility for Bishop Allen Academy, and $26.4 million for the construction of an additional Catholic secondary school in central Etobicoke.
