An order under the Community Infrastructure and Housing Accelerator program has helped the municipality fast-track a proposal to build a seniors’ residence on Peel Street.

Strong performances in both the residential (+7.9%) and non-residential (+9.8%) sectors propelled the increase. Ontario saw a rise of nearly 11% in total permit values.
