Ontario has used its powers to push through the redevelopment of three long-term care homes run by a company accused of serious mismanagement during the pandemic.

Investment crossed the $20-billion mark in April, as growth in the non-residential sector offset a slight contraction in housing.

The Business Council of Alberta calls Canada's current regulatory system for large-scale infrastructure projects "complex, fractured and frustrating."

Bowmanville Construction Partners has been awarded the early-stage contract. The project will see the Lakeshore East GO line extended almost 20 kilometres east into Bowmanville.

The route will run between Hydro One’s Lambton Transformer Station, located in St. Clair Township and Chatham Switching Station in the Municipality of Chatham-Kent.
